Thanks for the reply @capuderg
That’s why the From Email input is disabled for Gmail. Users had problems when they didn’t configure this field correctly. That happened to a lot of users.
Is it possible to just provide a disclaimer/warning, or maybe a support article on how to set up a send from address properly in Gmail, instead of disabling this feature completely for those of us who know how to use it?
Can confirm that the send from email override stopped working for Gmail in the most recent update 2.1.1 and that it works if rolled back to 2.0.1.
I’d highly recommend enabling this feature again, even if you do so with a warning that it might not work as intended. It works fine when configured properly.
Also, this should be mentioned in your change log so developers are aware of the adjustment to functionality of the plugin.

In reply to: [W3 Total Cache] Database Cache accessing incorrect databaseHi Marco. That’s interesting. There was no way for us to know that we would run into that issue until it happened. It might be an idea to note this on the settings page.
Even after the sites were migrated from subdirectories to their own domains they still had the same issue. Is this only an issue with database caching using memcache, or are you saying that we shouldn’t use memcache at all for sites on the same domain?
