Just found out it is a known issue with Moo-Point 1.75 which it turns out is the one i’m using 🙂

Have not found anything yet but have identified where it goes wrong.
when i select: Options -> reading -> use static page (sorry my wordpress is in danish . hope its right) The widget will vanish from the front page. If I choose Recent Posts I get the default widgets along with my selected widgets but still no recent post widget.
Is This still a theme bug?
