Hi @thefrizelles,
Thank you for reaching out!
The issue you’re experiencing usually happens when the Default Registration Page is not configured.
Even if the “Display Register Button” option is enabled in the Login Form Field Manager, the button will only appear on the frontend if a registration page has been assigned in the global settings.
To resolve this, please follow these steps:
- Go to RegistrationMagic → Global Settings → Default Pages
- Locate the Default Registration Page setting
- Select the page where your registration form is published
- Save the settings
Once this is set, the Register button should start appearing correctly on the login form.
If the issue still persists after this, please let us know and we’ll be happy to assist further.
Hi @valdez201986,
Thank you for exploring the frontend user area in RegistrationMagic — glad to hear you’re checking out these features!
Regarding your questions:
- Editing submissions:
Yes, users can edit their submissions after they’ve been submitted from the frontend user area. - Restricting users to their own submissions:
This is handled automatically. Users can only view submissions they have created in their user area — they cannot access submissions from other users. - Admin notes visible to users:
Yes, administrators can add notes to submissions, and these notes can be made visible to users in their frontend dashboard.
Please note that all of the above features are available in the RegistrationMagic Premium version.
For detailed guidance on setting these up, we recommend checking the documentation available on the official RegistrationMagic website, where you’ll find step-by-step instructions and configuration details for frontend submission management.
Hi @alaxb99,
Yes, this is possible in RegistrationMagic.
You can configure a redirect after form submission from the form’s Post Submission settings.
To set this up, please follow these steps:
- Go to RegistrationMagic → Forms in your WordPress dashboard.
- Click on Dashboard for the form you want to configure.
- Open the Post Submission settings.
- In the Redirection option, select the page or URL where you want users to be redirected after completing the form (for example, a welcome page or any other page on your site).
- Save the settings.
Once configured, users who successfully submit the form will automatically be redirected to the selected page.
Hi @tony-marks,
Thank you for your kind words! We’re glad to hear that RegistrationMagic is working well for you.
Regarding your questions:
1. Creating multi-column (row-based) fields
The form builder supports up to 4 field columns in a single row. To adjust this, simply hover your cursor over the field and click the row settings icon that appears at the top of the field. This will open the Row Settings, where you can add additional columns to the row and arrange fields side by side.2. Password field in registration forms
When you create a new registration form, the password field is added automatically, so you do not need to add it manually. Please feel free to reach out if you have any other questions—we’ll be happy to help.
Hi @mikfrench,
Thank you for the detailed update, and for sharing your findings after the event — we understand how challenging intermittent issues like this can be, especially when they cannot be reliably reproduced in a controlled test environment.Based on similar cases we have analyzed, behaviour like duplicate registrations is often related to edge-case interactions between caching layers, page optimization mechanisms, or asynchronous request handling under high traffic conditions. Because the issue appears random and the event has already concluded, it becomes difficult to isolate a definitive root cause retroactively without live diagnostic data.
That said, we want to share some forward-looking information that should be relevant for your next registration cycle. We are currently working on a significantly revamped version of RegistrationMagic, scheduled for release in the coming months. This update includes several architectural improvements focused on performance stability and request handling, including enhanced caching-aware processing and optimizations designed to prevent duplicate submission scenarios in complex hosting environments.
While we cannot guarantee outcomes without reproducing the exact environment, these improvements are specifically intended to address the class of issues that can lead to duplicate entries under certain conditions.
Given your timeline of running registrations again next year, the upcoming release should be available well in advance and will likely provide a more robust foundation for high-volume events.
Thank you again for your patience and for using RegistrationMagic.
Due to lack of further response, we are closing this topic.
Hi @mikfrench,
We tested form submissions on our end using the same set of plugins that are active on your site, and everything worked as expected. We did not observe any duplicate submissions during our testing.
To help us narrow this down further, could you please temporarily deactivate your caching plugin and test the form submission again? This will allow us to confirm whether the issue is related to caching behavior on the site.
Once tested, you can safely re-enable the cache plugin and let us know the results so we can take the next steps accordingly.
Hi @mikfrench,
Thanks for sharing the plugin list. Our team is looking into the issue. I will get back to you soon with an update.
Hi @mikfrench,
Could you please let us know which other plugins you have activated on your site so we can try to recreate similar environment on our server and check the issue.

Hi @ma3ry,
I am assuming that you have already created a registration form with RegistrationMagic. If not, you can check out its starter guide on our website. For membership companion plugin, we recommend using ProfileGrid as RegistrationMagic works seamlessly with it. ProfileGrid provides membership features such as:
- User groups
- Frontend profiles
- Membership-based access control
- Registration + login workflows
You can get started with ProfileGrid by checking out its starter guide on ProfileGrid’s website.
Hi @ma3ry,
Thank you for reaching out and for explaining your setup. At the moment, RegistrationMagic does not have a built-in integration with the Simple Membership plugin. Because of this, a form created with RegistrationMagic cannot directly register users as Simple Membership members.
While the integration is not available yet, we may consider adding it in the future based on user demand.
Please let us know if you’d like help configuring RegistrationMagic for the best possible setup with your current workflow.
