Is there a way to lessen the spaces between the lines of the Meta widget and pretty much all the widgets? They’re spaced apart like a double space. Was not able to find the code in the ccs.
Also is it possible to import widgets from online into the subtle theme? I’d like to find something to display my monthly blog titles or parent and child titles of categories.

In reply to: [Subtle] Eliminating title, date and author from pagesThanks, you were right, I had not switched in the theme section. It worked! Should I copy the entire ccs code from my parent theme and copy it to the child theme or only use it for changes that I wish to make?

In reply to: [Subtle] Eliminating title, date and author from pagesI entered the code as you said in my childtheme and nothing happened. I did it in the page itself and it worked fine though. I then deleted it there as I want it to work in my child theme.
Is there a way you can check to see if I did the child theme correctly? I followed the instructions on http://codex.ww.wp.xz.cn/Child_Themes but may have slipped up somewhere. ThanksHere’s what I have:
