same issue here and it’s not related to Events Calendar pages but also to pages or any other custom post types. The 404 is because the permalink is removed if some change is made (and page is reloaded)
Please fix this ASAP 🙏

I have just tested new version (2.0.2) but unfortunately no change on my end ☹️. Also tried to change setting to Default and back to Legacy again. No luck…
Rolled back to 1.9.10 and everything is fine again.
PS it wasn’t necessary to recreate the PDF. Just reloaded the page which showed the wrong PDF and after downgrade PDF show correct again.

I’ll need a bit more info to investigate it:
In the new “PDF Templates” tab, did you switched from “Legacy” to “Default” in “PDF Template Sets”? if so, try to switch back to “Legacy”.Yes, before rolling back to 1.9.x I tried changing this setting.
Are you overwriting PDF templates in your theme? or are you using the default ones from the plugin?
I’m overwriting the template. If it will help, I can provide code for this.
Are you using any other customization like the any of the plugin shortcodes?

The problem was related to WPML plugin. Customer created new site and then it worked.

When you disable the troubleshooting mode, do you see the “Start SEO Data Optimization” button?
Yes, after turning troubleshooting mode off, the button in Yoast is shown again.

I did all steps you provided above and yes then SEO data optimization works. After this I tried to turn Troubleshooting Mode off and run Yoast SEO data optimization again. Unfortunately same error again ☹️
This means I need to repeat this step by which every plugin installed on this site, right?

If I optimize SEO data the progress bar shows about 65 % until this error occurs. So I don’t think that something is blocked by hosting provider. There is also no caching or security plugin installed on this site but WPML which is really a pain.
Do you have any other suggestions I can try?

I again updated to latest version of your plugin and am monitoring server load. In addition I asked my hosing provider (all-inkl.com) about your questions. Here are the answers:
- There is no increase in the database table xx_yith_wcan_cache
- They installed a tool to log out crawlers (I asked how this tool is called – but waiting for answer)
Now server load is back to normal again. I don’t know if this has something to do with the tool my hosting provider installed or something else. Version of YITH WooCommerce Ajax Product Filter is latest 5.2.0 one (same that made lots of problems on my server a week ago).
I will keep an ey on this and reply again once I get the name of the tool I mentioned above.
