In reply to: [Smart Popup by Supsystic] Violate Plugin Policy.Just a quick update – we’ve released a new plugin update and included several fixes.
While reviewing this, we also found the issue that could cause the tour popup not to close properly in the admin area, and this has now been addressed in the latest version. Please update the plugin and check if everything works correctly on your side now.
If you have a moment to test it, we’d really appreciate your feedback.
Also, if the update resolves the issue for you and you feel the plugin is working as expected now, we’d be very grateful if you’d consider updating your review. Our team genuinely puts a lot of effort into maintaining and improving the plugin, and feedback like yours helps us continue supporting it.
Thanks again for bringing this to our attention and helping us improve the plugin.

In reply to: [Smart Popup by Supsystic] Violate Plugin Policy.Hi @tien-nguyen,
Thanks for sharing the screenshot – it helps clarify what you’re seeing.
We understand the issue you’re referring to. The popup itself uses the standard WordPress admin notice behavior and normally closes when the button is clicked. We’ve retested this in several environments (including the latest WordPress versions), and the notice closes correctly on our side.
Because of this, it looks like something specific in your environment may be preventing the close action from working – for example a plugin conflict, admin-side script modification, or caching affecting the dashboard.
To properly investigate and identify the exact cause, please reach out to us through our support form on our website. That way we can look into the details of your setup and work with you directly to resolve it.
We’re happy to help and will do our best to get this sorted as quickly as possible.

In reply to: [Smart Popup by Supsystic] Violate Plugin Policy.Hi @tien-nguyen,
Just following up.
We’ve retested this in multiple environments, including the latest WordPress version, and still haven’t been able to reproduce a popup appearing in the admin dashboard or a non-working close button.
We genuinely want to resolve this, but without details about your setup, it’s difficult to identify the cause. If you can share the following, we can investigate immediately:
- WordPress version
- PHP version
- List of active plugins
- Any caching or admin UI modification tools in use
You can reply here or reach out through our support form – whichever is easiest.
We take reports like this seriously and are committed to ensuring the plugin works correctly in the admin area and remains compliant with WordPress guidelines.
We’ll be ready to assist as soon as we have a bit more information.
The Personal (Single Site) Supsystic Data Tables license only covers one site, even if that site is part of a WordPress multisite network.
Here’s how it works:
- 1 license = 1 site URL/domain
Even within a multisite network, the Personal license is valid for only one subsite. - Activation method doesn’t change this
Whether you network-activate the plugin or activate it on individual subsites, you still need a separate license key for each subsite you want to use the Pro features on. - Multisite specifics:
If you have, for example, a subsite atsite1.network.comand another atsite2.network.com, those count as two sites for licensing – so you would need two keys (Personal licenses) if you want Pro on both.
To sum up: 1 site = 1 license key, regardless of how the plugin is activated in a multisite setup.
Hello,@stemsrus
In the Pro version, you can grant access to the plugin for specific WordPress roles. Once permissions are configured, users with those roles can manage tables according to the access you’ve allowed – without giving them full WordPress Administrator rights. In other words, they don’t revert to full admin privileges; access is limited to what you assign within the plugin.
Regarding frontend table editing: yes, frontend editing respects the permissions configured in the Pro version. If a role is allowed to edit tables, they’ll be able to do so from the frontend according to those settings.
As for creating a spreadsheet from scratch on the frontend – the primary table creation and structural setup is still designed to be done from the admin area. Frontend editing is mainly intended for editing table content rather than full structural creation.
Hi @mori42 ,
Thanks for the clear report – that helps a lot.
You’re right: this notice started appearing after the update to WordPress 6.7, and it’s related to translation loading being triggered earlier than WP now allows. We’re already reviewing this behavior for versions 6.7 and above and will adjust the plugin so translations are loaded at the correct hook. I’ll follow up once we have a confirmed fix scheduled for an update.
In the meantime, as a temporary workaround, I recommend disabling PHP Notice logging on the site (for example via wp-config or your hosting’s PHP settings). This is a common step and won’t affect the site’s functionality, but it will prevent the log from growing so quickly and make other debugging easier.
Thanks for flagging this – we’ll make sure it’s handled properly going forward.
Looking forward to sorting this out with you.Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [Smart Popup by Supsystic] Popup Plugin nervt mit PopupHi,
thanks for the clear description. I understand how annoying it is when an admin popup can’t be closed – especially during daily work.
We have indeed received similar reports from some users. However, so far we haven’t been able to reproduce the issue on our side. This suggests it may depend on a specific setup or combination of plugins/themes, rather than a general configuration problem on your site.
To help us investigate this properly, could you please contact us via the support form on our website and include:
- Plugin version
- WordPress version
- Any other active plugins (if possible)
This will allow our support team to look into your case in more detail.
Looking forward to sorting this out together.
