In reply to: [Pinboard] Background image being croppedStrangely, it seems to have been a glitch that repeated itself several times, but has now resolved itself. Thanks though!

In reply to: widget-logic just not workingNope, it doesn’t vanish. Could it be an issue with my theme? it is widgetized, but the author added widgets some time after the theme was created and really didn’t make any provision for them.

In reply to: WYSIWYG editor goneHey ozbigben, I got your solution to work! I had to do it a little differently, but it worked.
Before, I had been opening the wp_config file in ftp and editing it there. What worked was downloading it, editing it, then re-uploading it to the site. For some reason my ftp program was re-inserting the spaces.
Thanks!

In reply to: WYSIWYG editor goneI didn’t have that plugin running, but I had several. I deactivated them all and tries again- no change 🙁 Thanks for mentioning it, though.

In reply to: I Can only write with htmlSame thing happening on one of my sites. I’ve tried replacing includes multiple times.

In reply to: WYSIWYG editor goneWhat’s most strange is that this is only happening on one of the sites I upgraded. I even tried copying the files from one site to the other, in case they had become corrupted somehow. No love.

In reply to: WYSIWYG editor goneFYI: this is only happening on one site. The other upgraded site is working fine.
I tried deleting and re-uploading the wp_admin and wp_includes directories. Any thoughts?

In reply to: Bad problem with wp_config.php when upgradingWell, I have good news: the ONE GUY at my web host who seems to be a WP user was on duty tonight and he fixed it for me. He just went in and put the info into a new wp_config file. Yay for good tech support. Whew! I was very worried there. Thank you ALL for your help! Because of y’all I would have been able to fix it if he had not, and I really appreciate your comments.
I do notice one thing: the two sites I have upgraded seem to be running a bit slow; has anyone else had this problem with upgrading to 2.6?

In reply to: Bad problem with wp_config.php when upgradingIf you mean the control panel, it’s just called “custom control panel.” They also have a web-based file manager/ftp program called Webshell, but that doesn’t access the database.
I have NEVER upgraded without backing up before- I really feel stupid now, but there has to be a way to fix this. I’ve got a support ticket into my host, too, but they are really fuzzy about WP-related things.
