Any help here – will need to abandon the plugin, export and sending mail are both broken.
Having this same issue. The only thing that has changed is my web administrator updated to php 7, other things stopped working on the site, so then rolled back to the previous working version of php which is 5.6.3. Export results in a blank page. If I cant export then this plugin is useless.

In reply to: [MembershipWorks - Membership, Events & Directory] Event List ShortcodeWell I found a workaround using the Widget Shortcodes plugin. All I need to do is add some styling. It seems like it will work well. I have my homepage as full-width, so I need to show the events in the main section not the sidebar.
