Tnx Lora, will give that plugin a try.
Im using just one shortcode per page, and also tried playing with the listing amt from 10 to listing=”5″ to see if amz will pull the items alot quicker, but still no luck. I switched out my theme with WP default theme to see if it will load faster too, will keep toying with it, tnx again.

finally got it to work. turns out out even tho i
created my access keys, i somehow bypassed
this step amz API step:
https://affiliate-program.amazon.com/gp/flex/advertising/api/sign-in.html where i had to
agree to the license, arggh. once i did that, the heavens parted:)
