I am using the free version of testimonials. But I use it a lot. If we can get this resolved I am sold on the developer version for sure! I didn’t realize how dependent I am on this awesome plugin until I suddenly it wouldn’t activate. Valuable lesson learned. Strange that it takes a little bug to make me realize I should be supporting this plugin!
Actually, I did previously rate it very favorably under my business login, as I have most plugins that I enjoy. I hadn’t realized that I was logged in differently on this machine.
I am a plugin developer as well, so I can only assume you were not using the term “all you site admins” in a negative manner.
This is only the second time since reviews have been available on ww.wp.xz.cn that I have given a negative review. I feel it is warranted, not because of any negative feelings toward the authors, but rather as a heads-up to people reading these reviews. When sites are broken on a broad scale, and further taken down by hosts because of the code practices in a plugin, I think that warrants a heads-up.
As you will note, I also mentioned that I am a long time fan of NextGen Gallery, and that I hope to see these issues resolved, even by suggesting that a light version might be helpful.
I believe my review was fair and appropriate.
Did anybody ever find a solution to this? I am running into the same problem and I can’t seem find a solution anywhere.
