In reply to: [LoginPress | wp-login Custom Login Page Customizer] Unwanted Log SendingNo worries??? Are you serious?
This log file contains public keys, server path, server IP address, emails of site users, plugin version numbers, information which we in no way want to be automatically uploaded to I don’t know where every day.
This is almost certainly a violation of General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and exposes organisations using your plugin to compliance issues with GDPR.
It’s an unacceptable error. Given your “no worries” response makes me feel all LoginPress users should disable and remove the plugin asap.
Hi,
It looks like the accept button is now selectable via keyboard only, as the first link on the page, but users still can’t tab to the settings link to then make any changes. In order to meet our legally required accessibility standards, it needs to be fully navigable / accessible via keyboard only. Is it possible to tab to the settings link too?
Thanks for your help.
Hi, thanks for your reply. The problem is the stage before this. It’s not possible to tab into the GDPR cookie bar on every page on the site to select “settings” or “accept”. If I click “settings” with a mouse, then you’re right, I can tab through the links. There’s just no apparent way to select and click settings get that far with only the keyboard.
If I try, I just tab through the links on the page, it gets to the bottom and instead of tabbing into the cookie bar, it goes back to the top of the page.
Can you advise about this part of the process please?
many thanks!
I’m having this problem too and need to ensure our sites meet legally required standards for accessibility. At the moment they don’t because of this otherwise excellent plugin. Can anyone advise please? Or will a future update make keyboard navigation possible? Thanks.
