  • Hi,

I have this same issue. 2 new admin accounts created on each site, several files added into the install, some code prepended to core wordpress files, wpconfig altered.

What hosting are you using? I’m on a VPS. I believe the gap in security must be at the Php, Mysql level on the server, and not the WordPress install itself.

Interested to know how people fixed it. I am currently cleaning, and moving a handful of sites to a new VPS and seeing what happens to them…

    Hi,

I suppose ideally it would be an uneditable field? There is a plugin called dynamic hidden fields that has a read-only option for a field but I couldn’t get it to work with yours.

My own use case is for some basic fraud detection. User fills out a form, and if they are from certain areas, then their applications are more heavily scrutinised. Many of them are likely to lie when there is a selection box.

We integrate CF7 with Zapier for some other automation. So it would be nice if we could pass certain values when the form is submitted.

Yes, you’d need to mention storage on google in the privacy policy.

    Thanks.
