This is the behaviour which I thought it should have but this is not what I’m seeing using the demo site.
New customer created and appointment assigned.
Clicking into the appointment from the calendar shows the customer assigned.
Selecting this link requests an Edit details prompt rather than display the existing details.

It is almost as if it is missing a step -> click to view the customer details and then click again to edit etc.
