Ok, I think I figured it out. In ‘Config’, I set the Image Size to Large, and the thumbnails appear sharp now.

In reply to: Custom Menus not showing in Menu SettingsI think I got it straight. Looks like I was developing the functions.php file that was being developed via Flywheel, and looking for changes on localhost via MAMP.
Things are ok now. Funny mistake.

In reply to: Positioning assistanceThanks Chris! That worked– I appreciate your assistance. Now I’ve learned how to add some HTML in the header.php file. This is good knowledge for me.
Glad you like the photos, thanks!

In reply to: Positioning assistanceThanks Chris. Though I need to keep the fixed header– I’ve updated the site URL to reflect the reason why.
Any ideas on how to achieve the fixed header with proper positioning?

In reply to: style.css edits no longer affect siteThank you Mik, that did it.
I had the LiteSpeed cache disabled for a while, so what I did was Activate the plugin, then Purge All. This is puzzling to me, but it cleared the problem. My changes are now visible.
I appreciate your help!

In reply to: [WooCommerce] Cannot fix images per row on shop pageHey lorro, after spending much time on this today, I’ve decided to start fresh with a new theme and try to build my custom css more carefully. I still was not able to remedy the alignment problems I was having. Much of it had to do with wanting the Woocommerce shop images a little larger, which opened up a many issues as you are certainly aware of. This theme was difficult to work with anyways.
I do appreciate your help and learned a couple of things in the process.

In reply to: [WooCommerce] Cannot fix shop images per rowThanks Mike. By error, I posted the question twice- once through WP support, and the other through Woocommerce support- didn’t realize they led to the same forum! Anyway, that’s my original question I posted (the link you provided) with some feedback coming through. I’ll go ahead and close this one.

In reply to: [WooCommerce] Cannot fix images per row on shop pageWow, thanks for all your time, lorro. I’m going to spend a lot of time today working with your recommendations and the code you provided. Hopefully in the process I can better understand what is going on rather than creating a mess of code like I’ve been doing. I’ll report back with my results!

In reply to: [WooCommerce] Cannot fix images per row on shop pageHi lorro, thank you for your help. I put your code into the child theme style.css
This did improve the rows, which is great. However, it seems the whole grid (div#content area) is off center compared to the header text, and I’m not sure how to correct this. I tried to alter the #main margin info, which helped, but then it changed all pages in the site. For some reason, using a page-id for the #main area had no effect. Any ideas?

In reply to: [Plugin: Woocommerce] Shop images per rowThis question was reposted through Woocommerce support page. Didn’t realize it would post it in this forum as well! Guess they are connected.

In reply to: Loading mixed (insecure) display content ! help please !Hi James, thank you for your response. I added the favicon many months ago, so I didn’t remember how I added it (it wasn’t a plugin). However, I just realized I could assign a favicon through the theme settings… this solved my issue by overriding the previous favicon, and I no longer get the insecure mixed content warning. All is well!

In reply to: HTML5 Error – how to fixThank you for this link- I’ll take a look at fixing this tomorrow. Though one thing I can’t figure out is how to edit this HTML code. I can’t seem to access it. If anyone can guide me with this, that would be great. Thanks.
