Hi JLeuze – thanks for a fantastically fast response. I have disabled jShortcodes and am now using Shortcodes Ultimate without any problems whatsoever – so my ‘issue” has gone away.However – if I do re-enable jShortcodes – Meteor Slides “dies” in IE8 even though no jShortcodes are in use anywhere. Still works absolutley fine in FF and Chrome.
