Thanks for your response. The image upload issue was resolved after my hosting provider received my instructions to update their PHP version.

Thanks for your response. See above.

I did contact my web site host who updated my PHP to 8.3 or higher. On my first attempt after that update, I was able to upload an image attached to my blog post.

    Imran Khan.

Again, I wanted to reach out to you to say thanks for your response to my image error question earlier this morning.

When your response link directed me to my WordPress Site Health page, I contacted my web site host regarding an update to the 8,3 or higher PHP version. I was just notified of that update.

My image uploaded to my blog post immediately after my first attempt after the update.

    Thanks again for your help.

Thank you very much for this response.

In all honesty, this is ridiculous. I have used WordPress to host my company web site for many, many years. I do every update recommended to me.

All of a sudden I can’t upload an image file for my weekly blog post?

I don’t have the time or the technical knowledge to fix this issue. Maybe it’s time to look for an alternative to WordPress.

    Mr. Haberstroh,

Thanks very much for your post above. Your instructions and directions for “sticky” on the main Post Setting page are much appreciated. And much less confusing than searching for the same setting in the Quick Edit setting only AFTER posting.

Thanks very much, Mayuri. Your instructions are exactly correct.

Moving this feature from the regular editor (where it was clearly visible on each post) to hiding it in the new location makes absolutely no sense. Especially when the same space in the regular editor is still available in the updated version of the program.

Another example of why updating to new versions of the program (as recommended) is a dangerous process.

Thanks again for your clear response.

The only place I found the “make this post sticky” option was on the Quick Edit page.

I found Visibility after I clicked on the Publish button. But I can’t find Edit next to it.

Thanks for your response, but I can’t find the Visibility option next to the Publish option in the right side column.
