I already tried that. I even managed to import the b2e tables into the SQL database where WP is running. But when I run the import script offered under your link it wont work. I get errors like this
WordPress database error: [Table ‘usr_web396_2.wp_categories’ doesn’t exist]
I guess this might be due to the fact that with b2evo 1.10.2 (the last stable release before b2evo changed to 2.0) and WP 2.3 the table structure of both got changed (afair) – and ideed there is no wp_categories table (anymore) for example
