In reply to: [Redirection] PatternHi John,
Thanks for getting back to me so quickly, appriciated.
I have a specific URL, for example, “/jw-pei-handbags/,” which I want to handle with an exact match redirect set at priority zero, targeting itself.
I also have a broad pattern at priority one in the same group, catching keywords like “handbags,” which should redirect to “/category/fashion.”
Despite the exact match set first, the pattern still catches the URL. I cleared caches, tested with no other groups or redirects, and simplified the setup.
Could you help me understand why the exact match isn’t taking priority?

In reply to: [Hide Posts] HiddenHi,
Last time for me unless I hear back from you
When you Hide anything, there is no way to find it unless you turn the plugin OFF?Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [Hide Posts] HiddenHi,
When a post or page is set to password protected – the plugin cannot be set to hide anything on save.Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [Hide Posts] HiddenHi,
I’ve identified a structural issue in the Hide Posts plugin that causes posts to become completely inaccessible in the WordPress admin area once they are hidden—even when viewing them under Drafts, with Screen Options → Hidden On enabled or disabled, or when logged in as an administrator.
Many ThanksHi,
Thanks for your reply.
When I post a ThirstyAffiliates link to X (for example: https://www.mysite.com/go/cars/), clicking the link results in X blocking the redirect and preventing it from reaching the target.
I don’t want to rely on a third-party URL shortener.
Does ThirstyAffiliates provide any built-in alternative link method or redirect type that would avoid this issue? Thanks.

In reply to: [Search Exclude] HTML5 PlayerHi,
All you need to know is that the checkbox does not remain ‘checked’ upon save? 🙂

In reply to: [Better Search Replace] Not WorkingHi,
Thanks for that,
I’m using elementor.
But since all data is saved in the DB, regardless how a link is created, the plugin should interrogate the db, find the string and change it, right?
ThanksHi,
OkayThanks

In reply to: [404 Solution] Non existant pagesHi,
Thanks for that 🙂
I tried redirection Plugin but you have to manually have to do this which is pain for hundreds of bad urls.
As I said,
Here is a typical example of a non-existant page :
site.com/tag/british-humour-films/page/3/Redirect to :
site.com/tag/british-humour-films/
So your saying your plugin catches these and will redirect as shown above?
May Thanks/Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [404 Solution] Non existant pagesHi,
Forgive me, but I can’t see how it is able to redirect from :
Example ….
site.com/tag/british-humour-films/page/3/
to :
site.com/tag/british-humour-films/
Maybe I’m missing something?Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [404 Solution] Non existant pagesHi,
Thanks for the swift response, appreciated
So you’re saying that non-existent URLs such as :
site.com/tag/british-humour-films/page/3/
Will it check and detect if it does not exist and then redirect it to :
site.com/tag/british-humour-films/
Is that correct?
Many Thanks
