Same issue here. The dashboard nag, after closing by clicking the ‘x’, always reappears on each reload of a dashboard page. Currently running version 3.0.4 but this dashboard message has been persistent since upgrading to 3x a good while ago.

When switching from Legacy, a site that had only a few pages restricted now has at last half of ALL pages restricted, randomly. I restored from backup and will wait until sometime later to finish the upgrade.
I have this exact problem. The settings always revert to an incorrect sender name. At the very least, can you tell us where in the database this setting is saved so that we might change it at a database level?

In reply to: [Plugin: WP-members] Duplicated registration formThanks, I used a variation (with relevant container divs) of the css “display: none” property mentioned above, on Woothemes Canvas theme, and that does the trick as well. In my case the plugin conflict was between Spectacu.la page widget and WP-Members plugin.
