I just reactivated the DG plugin and gave it another spin and now it works fine! Even the PDF thumbs are showing up. Fantastic.
Thanks to Dan and his team for making this great plugin… I donated to keep the good work going.
Now I notice a bug #3. I cannot update the Theme Options – Homepage settings due to a conflict with Document Gallery. I would love to get the current version of DG working but I need some help! Otherwise I may need to roll back to the older version of DG (v. 1.?) to get the documents out to the teachers that need them.
Would you please provide some suggestions?
I tried your suggested steps and the issues are not resolved. Here is what I tried.
– I disabled all plugins except for DG
– I switched to a default theme
– I went to a webpage, and clicked “Insert Media”
– I clicked “Create Document Gallery” in left bar
– I selected document(s) to be included in gallery
– I click “Create a new Document Gallery” in the bottom right
Here is bug #1—
the right bar does not have the “Document Gallery Settings” sectionBug #2 – once I click on Insert Document Gallery nothing shows up on the page.
Any other suggestions? I’m thinking of rolling back to v. 1.? as I’ve got an educational event that I need to be sharing docs with teachers next week.

Thanks for your reply. I’m using Chrome browser.
You are correctly interpreting part of the problem… that the Document setting section on the right bar doesn’t show after Clicking on “Create a new Document Gallery” in the bottom right.
Plus, after clicking “Insert Document gallery” nothing gets inserted on the page.
I’ll try disabling all plugins and see if DG works and let you know.
