I read the articles you linked and was able to learn a lot about media queries. I was then able to make several tweaks to the mobile display of my site.

Strangely, though, I couldn’t figure out how to change the padding of the content area.

Sometimes I have trouble identifying exactly which element I should be editing, but I’m pretty sure it’s the padding on the content area.

Do you have any idea about this?

I want to change the date on the single posts and the blog index page both — where ever a post appears.

I do have a child theme in place.
