Thanks for the quick response, Robin. As I mentioned in my opening remark, it is currently working in the multisite environment, with the caveats I mentioned. I will continue to use it, now knowing its short comings and a work around. You may want to have a product FAQ explaining the short comings and work around. Other multisite administrators may find the short comings acceptable and still decide to use it.
You may also want to keep the multisite issue in mind when making further upgrades, so it does’t completely break it, even though you do not plan to explicitly rewrite the product for this feature. Better yet, you can make incremental enhancements such as supporting other subsite users at the same level of not logged in (anonymous) users. (Currently, they do not have any access, while the not logged in users may have higher level of access, based on the setup by the administrator.) I know I am pushing it. Just a thought!
