In reply to: 2.9 my story.I am one of those who are having an “issue,” and who doesn’t appreciate being yelled at by Otto. I am a long-term user of WordPress, and have never had the slightest problem I couldn’t work out. Now my comments have disappeared from below the posts, even though they are still in the db. I’m going back to 2.86 from this wonderful, stable release until this issue is resolved.

in config.php, but I can’t find config.php on my server. do all hosts allow access to it? If I need to create one, where do I put it?

In reply to: 2.7 Flash Uploader ProblemThe problem is NOT that I have flash player 10. I have Flash Player 9.0.124. Everything was working fine in 2.6.5, but now Flash Uploader isn’t working.
Repeat, this problem is with WP, not Flash player.

In reply to: Upgrading to 2.3.2I too am having this problem. I’ve cleared every cache I know to clear (I’m not running a caching plug-in), but the dashboard still says I’m running 2.3.1.
