Can you point me in the direction of any help on how to use filters and hooks (especially the kws_gf_directory_detail filter)?

Should registered users be able to create events as well (not through the wp back-end but through the plugin)?
Still not working in 4.13. Have tried deactivating and reactivating.
Maybe my expectations are wrong: As I understand it, visitors should be able to create a new event, which the admin can them approve.
I’m having the same issue.
Settings seem to be right, I tried moving the file as suggested above.
This is a new install of both wp and the events plugin.
Have tried logging out, and tried ff and safari, with no success.
A second site, recently upgraded, used to show the form, and now does not.
