I had the same issue. I tried updating the plugin, recreating the widget, generating new OAuth code…etc. It turns out that turning on ‘retweets’ fixed both feeds in the same site.

Thanks for this – that makes total sense. It’s a shame as the Options plugin is ideal for tailoring content. I thought I might have to create a page or post for the footers if I couldn’t get it to work – so that’s taken care of.
At least there is a workaround to it all….
