In reply to: [WooCommerce] unable to print labels due to JSON errorThis is really frustrating. This issue just keeps getting drawn out with no resolution. I submitted this post to the link I was given in email from WP after I raised my issue in a reply to another post with a similar problem! Here it is…
[Sorry to hear that you are experiencing the same issue. So now I have to submit another post and wait, again for a response.I am having a similar problem when I click on create shipping label. It returns the ‘The response is not a valid JSON response” and will not move on from there. I had this problem a while ago and fixed it by installing a new fresh htaccess file. That did not work this time. In the WC status logs I have this entry multiple times: 2024-11-26T16:35:58+00:00 Warning Empty patterns received from the PTK Pattern Store
I have checked all the rectification methods mentioned in the post above.
I am very frustrated and fed up with Woocommerce shipping. Why does this keep happening?I was just able to get the USPS services and rates to show by doing the following process: I deactivated the Woocommerce shipping plugin, then went to orders and clicked on the order I wanted to make a label for. A banner came up at the top for buying and making labels, which urged me to install WCshipping. I clicked on it and the shipping rates and label creation section showed up. I went back to the orders list, clicked on the order and then clicked on ‘create a label’ and got the JSON error. Went through the deactivation/install process again and got the label purchase and print box to come up.
