In reply to: [WooCommerce-Ozpost] Useless without the $15 Per Month subscription feeEveryone is given a generous 60 day FREE trial period.
Currently, subscriptions are either one month or 3 months (your choice).
My husband, Rod Gasson, the one-man show behind Ozpost, passed away at the end of November after a very hard fought battle with cancer. I was going to stop the servers on the 10th March but a fellow subscriber, who’s been with us for as many years as Ozpost has existed is attempting, with a partner and a programmer to 1) recreate the ozpost services and 2) see whether they can work towards developing it further as shopping carts change over time. If they can take it over, they will. If not, I will have to shut the servers down.
The shorter subscriptions will help with the transition period between their ownership and mine, and if they can’t make a go of it, it means I won’t be owing money to several subscribers.
I’m sorry this is in an inconvenience, but t truly hope it’s only a temporary one.

In reply to: [WooCommerce-Ozpost] Smartsend Password ErrorHi,
Not sure what to tell you other than the ozpost module simply passes the login credentials over to the SmartSend API, and it is *their* end that produces any error messages.
I would suggest you try resetting the password and avoid using any ‘special’ characters (such as spaces, ampersands, quote symbols, etc, etc.Cheers

In reply to: [WooCommerce-Ozpost] Great plugin!!For the record, I’ve never ever called anyone a douche (or any other derogatory name)
I have never said that anyone ‘deserves to end up with errors’ (Why would I even do that?)
Louisa is just piffed at me because I wouldn’t give her a discount and I *jokingly* stated that for the amount of support that she has requested of me that I should actually be charging her extra. Few people require any support at all. She currently has the dubious honour of seeking more help in the last 12 months than anyone else ever! Don’t be a Louisa!

In reply to: [WooCommerce-Ozpost] HunterExpress Quotes not workingUpdate: Monday 4dec, evening. The Hunter Express sandbox server appears to be functioning. Some pretty weird results though, same parcel, $5.00 for Air Express, $21 something for Road Express???
Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [WooCommerce-Ozpost] HunterExpress Quotes not workingIt appears that you are probably using the sandbox/demo account. Although this should give some sort of quote I’ve no idea how accurate they would be, so on a production server you really should/must use your own credentials.
The reason I am assuming you are using the sandbox/demo account is because their sandbox server doesn’t seem to be providing any quotes at the moment. I’ve no idea why. I’ve tried different weights and dimensions, and different shipping destinations, and all I’m getting is “No services available for this location pair”. When I run the same figures through their live server I’m getting good results.
Unless you *are* using you own account details, I suggest you try again tomorrow or Tuesday to give their IT folk time to fix the sandbox server.
If you still have issues especially if it appears to be weight related then please send me a link to a *specific* product in your store to show the problem (saves me having to keep guessing ’til I find one over the ex32kg limit). Oh, and please send me the destination postcode/suburb, otherwise I will only test using Adelaide/5000, which would be a waste of time if the problem only appears if the destination is Barangaroo/2000
Thanks

In reply to: [WooCommerce-Ozpost] TransDirect not workingThanks for *your* help (and reporting the bug) Tassos.
I’ve just uploaded v2.1.3 – The only change being this bugfix.
I have also added an extra month to your active subscriptions for your help in identifying this one. I’d have been totally lost without your help on this one.
Cheers

In reply to: [WooCommerce-Ozpost] TransDirect not workingYoiks. I *think* (well, pretty sure) I’ve found the problem. I’ll push out an update tomorrow (I need to call it quits for the night).
If you want an instant fix (and to confirm my finding/solution). if you could load the file ‘wc-shipping-ozpost.php’ into a text editor, go to line#54 which currently reads
‘trd_methods’,’trd_email’,’trd_password’,’trd_handling’, ‘trd_type’,The add ‘trd_international_handling’, to the end of the line, so it reads:
‘trd_methods’,’trd_email’,’trd_password’,’trd_handling’, ‘trd_international_handling’,.. Save the file, and all should be fine.
Cheers

In reply to: [WooCommerce-Ozpost] TransDirect not workingThe DEBUG output (part b) that you provided shows that the non-insured methods are available, so lets concentrate on just one of them for the time being.
[id] => TRDtntIntEco
[carrier] => Transdirect
[description] => TNT International Economy Express
[cost] => 107.70
[days] => Wed 27th of SepDoes your DEBUG output ‘part a’ (allowed methods) show an entry for
‘TRDtntIntEco’. I suspect it doesn’t.It could be useful if you could provide a copy of the part ‘a’ debug (with all TRD methods enabled) – I suspect (from what you have told me) that this method hasn’t been picked up as being enabled for some reason, so with all TRD methods, and armed with a copy of the DEBUG output part ‘a’ I will have a ‘map’ as to any/all other methods that have been administratively enabled, but for whatever reason, isn’t actually showing as a valid method.
Cheers

In reply to: [WooCommerce-Ozpost] TransDirect not workingThis DEBUG (part B ‘server returned’) is telling us that the ozpost servers are returning Transdirect quotes for this particular request.
The important bits for your to note are the “id” fields, in particular, the ones starting with “TRD”.
eg:
[id] => TRDtollIntD
[id] => TRDtollIntP
etcYou will/should have noticed that the DEBUG also has a section labelled ‘part A – allowed methods’.
For a quote method to be shown to the customer there must be a matching pair in parts A and B. We can see the TRD quotes in part ‘b’ so I can only assume that there isn’t a matching ‘id’ in part ‘a’ – IOW, the methods shown in part ‘b’ have been disallowed (not enabled) as a supported shipping method.
My suggestion would be for you to 1st enable *all* Transdirect methods to confirm my diagnosis, and then disable the methods that you specifically don’t want to offer to the customers.
If for some reason you do enable all the Transdirect methods but you don’t see the ‘TRD’ options in part ‘a’ of the debug then I have some deeper investigating to do.
Cheers
RodPS. Please be aware that ozpost caches the results – so after making any config changes if they appear to have no affect please try using a different destination (or add/remove products from the cart) to invoke a new quote.

In reply to: [WooCommerce-Ozpost] TransDirect not workingNot enough info.
I’ve just run a couple of tests using both Aust and Overseas destination. No problems observed.
Does the ozpost DEBUG provide any clues?

In reply to: [WooCommerce-Ozpost] Fastway Medium BoxHere’s the problem
[calculated_parcel_weight_info] => 5.04kg (7kg cubic weight)The product is (apparently) subject to the cubing rules and therefore deemed too heavy/large for the small or medium boxes. How accurate are your measurements?
Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [WooCommerce-Ozpost] Fastway Medium BoxI’m afraid I don’t have answer for Q1. I’ve checked our code and it doesn’t appear that we are doing any checks on the dimensions of these boxes (although we really should), so it is more likely to be a weight issue. Are you taking the TARE weight into consideration? (tip: Try enabling the ozpost DEBUG as this will show what the calculations are actually based on for any given product (or cart).
As for Q2, if in a non delivery zone there won’t/shouldn’t be a quote displayed, but an error message will be produced and displayed instead (if enabled). All other valid methods will be displayed as usual. Basically the ozpost system will/should give the same results as the fastway website.
Cheers

In reply to: [WooCommerce-Ozpost] Fastway Cube – incorrectSingle parcel quotes only. There are numerous reasons for this design decision but I won’t bore you with details.

In reply to: [WooCommerce-Ozpost] Fastway Cube – incorrectYes, the plugin does work with the label system, and multiple labels will be used where needed.
It appears that your problem in this situation is that you are running foul of the cubing rules – Those two items would be calculated to fit into a parcel measuring 85x75x17.5. This gives a cubic weight of 29Kg and the last information I had, they have a max of 25kg (dead or cubic, whichever is the larger). THey used to have a max cubic weight of 40kg – but apparently this was reduced jan 2017.
