Thank you for your time Robert, I appreciate it. I have just tried again to update to WP 7.0 and after that the markers do not display on this site. They are displaying fine once again after I have downgraded to version 6.9.4. There doesn’t appear to be a plugin conflict as it is purely the WordPress version change that stops the markers from displaying. As a reminder I am using the old free version, which has been working fine, as it does now having taken the site back to 6.9.4 once again.

In reply to: [On This Day (by Room 34)] Posts from just one categoryYou’re a star Scott. Thanks for the VERY quick reply! At the moment I have set up the Litespeed Cache plugin to purge http://www.petersargent.co.uk URL daily at 00:05 (well I think I have!) Is that the best way forward at the moment?

In reply to: [On This Day (by Room 34)] Posts from just one categoryHi Scott, I am continuing to set up the best settings as I use this great plugin on this site. There isn’t an entry for every day, so I am testing to ensure they appear on the correct day and are removed from the widget (at the bottom of each page) the following day. The first entry was 18th January and after clearing the cache it appeared. However it did not disappear the following day until i cleared the cache. Is there a setting I need to amend either in the plugin or in the Litespeed Cache plugin I am using to ensure that the stories appear and disappear correctly? Thanks.

In reply to: [On This Day (by Room 34)] Posts from just one categoryBrilliant Scott. Thank you for the very prompt response. Finally, will it only display posts from that particular day or can it be ‘upcoming dates’ and then restricted to the number to display?
Several people are reporting this now. For me, the test email works if the email address I am sending from is on the same server as the website. However if the client uses MS or whatever to host their emails then the test email fails. This is constant with all my sites, suggesting to me that there is a bug. It was working fine until recently, and none of the settings have been changed. I look forward to an update, or advice on what I’m doing wrong!!

In reply to: [Simple Pull Quote] Security Vulnerability@themightymo No problem, glad to have helped and that it is sorted. It is a cool plugin and I would prefer to continue using it rather than finding an alternative if the security vulnerability could not be fixed.

In reply to: [The Events Calendar] Warning messageThank you Tristan. I have now managed to remove the warnings at the front end. It needed additional code as outlined in https://www.wpbeginner.com/wp-tutorials/how-to-turn-off-php-errors-in-wordpress/ rather than the one line mentioned in the link you sent.
I’m glad that the bug has been identified and will be addressed in due course. Obviously I fully appreciate the need to prioritise and I see that the plugin is regularly updated which is refreshing. Thanks again for your help and your work on this very good plugin. Chris

In reply to: [The Events Calendar] Warning messageI already had WP_DEBUG set to false as stated on the link you sent.
Again, to remove the warning notices I merely went onto the first VENUE that was showing this issue and clicked UPDATE, without changing anything. This removes the notices, only for them to reappear later.
The warnings refer to lines 27 and 28. Can I respectfully suggest you check these lines in the plugin code? As stated in the article you link to these warnings are usually as a result of coding issues. For your information I am using PHP v8.3.
I look forward to hearing further from you with interest. Thank you for your help and time so far.

In reply to: [The Events Calendar] Warning messageUnfortunately it is still displaying the warning message to site visitors, which is unprofessional looking I am sure you will agree.
All venues are fully coded.

In reply to: [The Events Calendar] Warning messageThanks for your very quick response. I have been through each of the venues, checked and updated them. Hopefully it has cleared the issue by doing this.

In reply to: [The Events Calendar] Default ViewI think it would be a good feature to incorporate in the next update 😉

In reply to: [The Events Calendar] Default ViewThank you Darian I am not seeing “Default Mobile View” on that page, just “Default View“.
Can you provide more detailed instructions, with maybe a screenshot please? Do I need to enable anything somewhere else in the settings to access this?
