    This is Roee from Spot.IM here. Thanks for reaching out and letting us know.

    We upgraded our infrastructure around that time and unfortunately some users experienced the issue you’re describing.
    The upgrade was completed successfully and all got back to normal. Can you please let me know if you still experience that?

    First, we are very happy to have you as one of our partners and look forward to growing your awesome community together!

    Secondly, I would love to address and elaborate on the issues you mentioned above;

    Currently, we enable automatic import from Facebook, Disqus, Livefyre and HyperComments. The good news is we are currently working on WP import as well which should be ready in the next few weeks. I will be happy to touch base with you once it’s live. Also, notifications for admins are in our roadmap and following that feedback I’ll push this feature up the ladder for you.

    As for moderation — Spot.IM has a sophisticated and robust moderation system, in which Akismet is one of the pre-integrated tools. We also have Google malicious links and file detection, Similar Web anti-porn and custom-built pattern recognition to keep spammers away and alert you on suspicious behaviour. For fine tuning you can also add restricted words, blacklist user/IP and reply from the moderation panel. If you think the system missed detecting spam, please let us know so our team can review the issue specifically. I’m also happy to jump on a call with you to give you a full overview.
