Just did an install on another WordPress instance and the same issue came up. I then reinstalled the plugin using the user interface instead of the CLI which I previously used. That went well.

Are there maybe some depencies I miss or javascripts that could interfere in some manner? I also use the same wordpress account over multiple JetPack installations could that cause any problems?
