In reply to: suggestion: md5 for themesperhaps wordpress could go and lookup the appropriate checksum from a server or something. It’s all about making it “harder” to hack, and unfortunately my own wordpress has had some compromised themes already 😐

So it’s probably mod security, but I don’t have access to the .htaccess files, so I’m sunk.
The odd thing is, if I post it to a wordpress hosted on wordpress.com, it goes through just fine, but not with my local install. Weird.

In reply to: certain links result in a 404resaving permalinks (if I’m doing it right) didn’t change things. Using bit.ly (and really any other links) seem to work fine, I wonder why it hates that one url…
