P.S. Had a quick look at BBpress and although it mentions integration with WordPress there don’t seem to be any instruction on how to do it. Are they available elsewhere?

Excellent. Thanks. It’s a script I’ve never come across despite too long spent trawling through Hotscripts!
This is the closest to Craigslist I’ve seen:

Costs $150, though, but it includes email verification (no need to have separate user registration) and built-in Paypal.
