In reply to: [The Events Calendar] Undismissable universal admin noticeThis is now a permanent notice on this client’s site. They even pay for the pro edition of the Events calendar. Oh, well.

In reply to: [The Events Calendar] Undismissable universal admin notice“There was an error while trying to fix the Venues geolocation information: You must enable Billing on the Google Cloud Project at https://console.cloud.google.com/project/_/billing/enable Learn more at https://developers.google.com/maps/gmp-get-started”
Like I mentioned, this client does not have billing enabled and may never have it.
It I uncheck the “enable maps” option, this error should logically go away. It does not.
Why do I need to see this notice when I’m editing a post? When working in a taxonomy? When updating general settings? When on another plugin’s option page?
Why is not dismissable?
I can see the logic of showing it all the time when working in the Events area. I can even see the logic of showing it on the dashboard. But it should be dismissable, without adding code to the theme, anywhere outside of Events admin area.

In reply to: [Geolocation IP Detection] 4.0.0 Bricks WordPressI just tried to update a site on my dev box running PHP 7.3.21, and GeoIP 4.0.0 seems to work there. So possibly a conflict with PHP 7.4.9?
Excellent! Many thanks for the fix!
No sorry, just laziness here. I’m on 7.3
When I say “throughout” I mean “where ‘page’ is not defined, like the plugins screen. Precision in bug descriptions is apparently not my forte…
This appears to have been a temporary glitch in the matrix. It was definitely happening yesterday…but I just checked again and it seems to have “fixed itself”.
This was using firefox on a windows system, latest released versions of MLA and WP, PHP 7.01 here and I believe the remote host is a higher version of 7.x.
In any case, sorry for the noise, please feel free to mark solved!
You can see an example of this by viewing the Att. Categories and then clicking on the image count to go to the Assistant.

In reply to: [Media Library Assistant] Assistant Screen Pagination ErrorI only noticed the pagination, but of course any other function on the Assistant screen which relies on that value will not work.
Thanks for your continued efforts with the plugin.
