Follow up for anyone else who has this problem. The solution of adding
word-break: break-all;
in the CSS was a reasonable fix for desktop viewing.Then I checked and it produced a layout on mobiles that was practically unreadable (column 1 became one character wide).
So I followed Tobias’s suggestion for the best approach, using short links. It took some work to change all the fields but it now works well.
Hi Tobias
Thank you very much for your guidance. In the short term I will use the word-break solution and look to change the link texts in the future.
I appreciate your support

In reply to: 4.7.3 “File type not permitted for security reasons”Thanks, Jan.
I installed the plugin and added
gpx = txt/gpx
as you first suggested and this worked.There was a warning message when editing the mime types:
“Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in /home/content/56/11028156/html/mayfieldmayfair/wp-content/plugins/wp-add-mime-types/includes/admin.php on line 61”
but this did not seem to cause a problem.Thanks for your help

Thanks for the plugin tip. It worked a treat for me (on a non-multisite installation)
