In reply to: [Timed Content] Almost there..Plus to make it clear, security is not an issue. Even if a few people figure out the link/button that is accessible in the html, still the linked page is protected.
My considerations are
– User experience. A large number people needing to refresh at a particular time is our other option & that is bad both for server load as well as not the best experience for the user (to force an auto refresh for example).
– Animation. The little animation that is available in the client side shortcode is actually very nice & draws attention subtly.It’s been working great for me (using it on 3 sites now). The bulk Smush option is also great!
Just wanted to put in my own experience since it seems, only people who have problems are posting here 🙂
