Update. I discovered my permissions change through GoDaddy wasn’t recursive – I had to re-apply changes via ftp.
I also noticed the WP backup was in the uploads folder and contained 800mb of files. I downloaded these then deleted them from the ftp.Everything is now successfully transferred!
Great plug-in!
Update. I have tried exporting only the media library and it sits at 0% and does nothing else. I have successfully exported all other parts with no issue so it seems to be an error when the plugin accesses the Media Library.

In reply to: Old WP site on unknown server is battling the new site installThanks Marius.
The root is forwarded according to the frame – however the CNAME/www part isn’t done. I will try this and hope all goes well.
Thank you again!

In reply to: Old WP site on unknown server is battling the new site installThanks for the input guys.
The issue is that the client stated the site was hosted on CompanyX hosting, I confirmed this with the who.is lookup. We got the login details, and all that is actually hosted on the login is the domain. There are no files on the account, no ftp accounts exist, there is nothing.
The nameserver and IP both point at CompanyX hosting but there’s simply nothing there. I have no idea how else I can find out where the original site is hosted so I can kill it.Ideally once I’ve ditched the old site there won’t be a potential for it to go to the wrong site. The site will be getting tweaked by an seo specialist once we’ve got it signed off so at that point we’ll hand it off to them and the frame forward will be removed.
