Apparently this has to be fixed on a page-by-page basis by putting [raw][/raw] tags around the slideshow shortcode in the page’s text editor.

Thank you for the incredibly quick response. The graphic designer does have a support ticket in with the designers of the theme that doesn’t work– Bluchic. The plugin works great with Responsive.
I figured it was going to be up to them to provide a fix, but thought it was worth a shot to post here as well. Again, I do appreciate your prompt reply.
