I have not tried swapping themes, or disabling a plug in. I did not create our website and have lost the employee that managed it. I have just been updating the site. I am not incredibly familiar with WordPress

I’m having issues with the header and footer on my website since the 4.5 update as well. The option to edit isn’t even available. I’m getting a “fatal error” when trying to edit.
I’ve had issues with other plugins (Visual Composer) since the update, so I imagine that this is also related somehow? Any help would be appreciated!
