We found a solution that avoids the use of a table, we’ll use columns instead. I found the html codes to make columns in the classic editor.

Still, it feels like the “table solution” should have worked. I won’t mark this as resolved yet – maybe we’ll want to use the combination of tables and shortcodes in the future. Hopefully with the next updates it will solve itself, or did you find a possible solution?

In any case, thank you for looking into the issue.

Thank you for your answer. I cleared the two cache options in Foogallery settings, with no effect. Now instead of only a blank space I get a list of names of the images.

When I include a second gallery shortcode outside the table something strange happens. (I tried this on the main technologies page and one of the subpages). With the gallery outside of the table, it loads both galleries! The one inside the table and the one outside. When I remove the second shortcode and leave only the one inside the table, I’m back to the list of names.

I checked the list of galleries again and for the gallery that is mentioned in the table it says “not used”. So apparently the site doesn’t know that the gallery is in use. But when I put a second same shortcode outside the table, suddenly both are noticed.

About the wp_footer() – I don’t know. When I check the page source I can’t find it. As far as I know, on all pages only the theme footer widgets are used. With a bit of custom css to set the column width.
