I sent an email to [email protected] and included temporary logins and they made the changes for me. Here’s what they did:
– Updated the plugin to the latest 2.0.8 version
– Tweaked Sermons menu item to be just /sermons as per the default archive (changed from /?post_type=wpfc_sermon)
– updated archive template to now include the new sorting function

Yes. The data will be preserved.
I deleted the new version and uploaded the old version (available in the developer tab of the plugin page) and it’s working fine. Not sure why 2.0 won’t work with my website.
