Yes. I discovered it was an incompatibility with another plugin: SimplePie Core. Once I disabled it all is working well again. I am not sure why I even had that particular plugin installed in the first place.
Also, I wasn’t get any error in my apache logs. I was able to force some errors to make sure logging was working but never got anything from the plugins. I ended up just going through and disabling each plugin one at a time until I found the culprit.
