I must be missing something. GoDaddy updated my hosted version of WordPress to 4.4
I was running an older version of Nirvana, On the prior release of WordPress it all worked great.
Now I have the classic “No Settings Page” issue. I’ve upgraded to the latest version of Nirvana – no change. I also installed the Cryout Serious Themes Settings Plugin and I still see no Settings in the
Appearance –> Nirvana Settings page/screen.What am I missing?
What I was seeing before was a site timeout. Since my original post, there have been a couple upgrades to WordFence. I’ve been able to leave it activated and things seem to be much more stable.
I’ll evaluate this new version (5.1.1) and see if it holds up better.
Thanks!

In reply to: [SEO Ultimate] removing Author in meta property="article:author"I’m trying to do the same thing. I don’t want the ‘real’ username shown in the source code on pages or on comments. I feel this is a security risk and would love to know how to not allow the user’s ‘real’ login name. Nickname is fine but not real name.

In reply to: Hacking Attempts – Hide username? The post author and comments author is visible if you look at the source code on a page. I’m also looking for a way to hide/eliminate this information. On my blogs it’s really not needed and when I was running a much older version of WP (3.0.5 I think) I was able to strip this information out. The trick no longer works. 🙁
