Simple enuff – added the style attribute to the piece_of_code variable in the upload file. The next step would be to provide an option to replace the style attrib.
Then it should be 3 clicks, plus browse to get your image into your post properly aligned and looking good….

Now – that’s elegance….! Great way to refine the idea Nuke (I think!)
Okay, so now, the next step is to add the style attribute as an option to the link generated by the image upload function and I think we have a crude, but effective pic&text posting blog.
Calling all hackers!….anyone up to the challenge….?

hmm – couple of things Nuke:
    First:
Go ahead and try my example using the <font> tag and let me know your results.
<font color=”whatevercolor”><img with border=”whateversize”></font> and tell me your results. I will admit it is not terribly sexy or elegant in the regular coding vernacular, but I wouldn’t have posted it before testing it.
    Second:
Yours and Byte’s suggestion is more in line with the current coding scheme, so I am quite interested in it. How then would you implement it as a subset of the current WP upload functionality?

Not sure either Byte – my only reservation there would be that if we place it in the CSS file, it will limit the flexibility of placing the image where you want it.

Thanks for all the help folks.
One question LL…how do you make the text that shows up obey the regular font structure of your CSS file? In other words how do I make “There are 100 users Online” a certain size and color font to blend in with the rest of my site?

Thank you folks – figured it out. Simply laziness pure and simple.

    Thanks notthatugly – works like a charm…..one down…one to go…..

    Nuke,
No probs…..I am having a bit of fun hacking it right now – but without the 1.0 upgrade. not sure how much the templating system changed with the full 1.o ver, but it seems easy enuff to play with for now until the gurus get to it.

Hey Craig – thanks for the quick response.
The one from otaku42’s link above (second post). That would really be ashame….I am not too familiar with the system here yet so if anyone has a quick fix, it would really be nice.
    LaughingLi’s site: http://dinki.mine.nu/weblog/ showcases it.

Is this theme compatible with the 1.0 upgrade. Kinda new to WP. Installed it the other day – “seamless installation”. I just upgraded to 1.0, but then I ran across this thread and decided to give this theme a go, but I get the following errors –
Warning: main(/home/testmember/public_html/blog//b2template.functions.php): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/testmember/public_html/blog/blog.header.php on line 10
Fatal error: main(): Failed opening required ‘/home/testmember/public_html/blog//b2template.functions.php’ (include_path=’.:/usr/lib/php:/usr/local/lib/php’) in /home/testmember/public_html/blog/blog.header.php on line 10
