I’ve since tried to connect other backup plugins and services to my Google account, and I keep getting the same error, so I think it’s a problem with my Google account.

As per my original comment I have already tried disabling Wordfence (firewall plugin) when doing the authentication and it still doesn’t work. There’s also no specific error, it just says ‘Something went wrong’ and ‘Unknown error’ in the Google URL.
