Hey Feral, I have been following this thread recently. Still not sure where the renaming of the file comes in place. Do you have a video tutorial you would recommend?

The deactivation script, is that added to the htaccess file?

Just a quick question from a Newb Developer.

Where are you renaming the plugin folder? Are you going into PHP MyAdmin?
