Hope this gets fixed soon. It’s been going on 8 months and no response from Yoast.
If this is pinging Google with every post update it’s the exact OPPOSITE of good SEO. Hard to believe this would be allowed to remain.
Maybe it’s gone by now? Who knows.

Maybe the next Yoast update will fix the issue when I upgrade?
What happens if I deactivate my plugins? Do I lose all my settings in them? Or are they just turned off?
Will my yoast settings still be there if I uninstall the plugin and reinstall it? I don’t want to delete what I already have set up. Where is the Yoast data saved?
Anyone have any idea how to get the plugin to show up on the left hand side dashboard again so I can use it? This is very frustrating!
Unchecked what box? My whole control panel for WordPress SEO is missing on the left hand side, even though the plugin is switched on and active.
I recently de-activated the bad behavior plugin, so I suspect this may have something to do with it? Any ideas?
Any update on this? I started using it on my site and my members love it! Well done!

http://membershipexpert.com/Just a quick update, I have been using this plugin now successfully on my site, http://membershipexpert.com/ for about 3 weeks now and you can see it working in my footer area. The members love it. Probably one of the best widget plugins on WordPress. Hope it gets updated with some new features and a save setting.
Just wanted to follow-up. The issue still seems to be appearing on my site, http://membershipexpert.com/ I tried a few things but nothing works and have been reassured it’s not a theme issue but one with this plugin.
Still looking for an answer. Somehow my posts on my site at http://membershipexpert.com/ are still pinging twice.

More people would likely buy your offer, as then they wouldn’t have to worry about another “bill” every month or year to deal with.
Buy once and you’re done!

Maybe a shortcode option that can be inserted into a template? Or a link that says “Subscribe to comments on this post without leaving one.” (make it so we can change the text as needed). The link could show up at the top above the commenting box. A great feature to add!
