Appearance>Evolve Settings>Post Styling
Select the first box/option under “Number of articles per row on home and archive pages – ‘post boxes'”
I feel silly!

Sorry if you have done this already, but just checking…
The first thing I would do is check the header code. Go into Appearance>Editor. Then access the Header.php on the right hand column.
Go 2/3rds down the page until you see <!–BEGIN #widget-carousel–> and then there should be the 4 bits of code that control the images and text for the slider.
Where you see:
<img src=’http://exampleURL.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/08/pic1.png’
Make sure there is only one image and that the URL is correct. I’m no expert but that is all I can offer! Hope it works

Go to Appearance > Editor, then choose Header.php on the right column.
Scroll down until you see <!–BEGIN #widget-carousel–> should be 2/3rds down the page roughly.
You will see 4 sets of code that control the images and text like this..

<div class=’carousel-caption’>
<h4>Amazing things to the website – DELETE THIS</h4>All you have to do is remove the text in the <h4> tags and it should just show the picture!

Yea around an hour ago it started to freeze up on me when i was trying to access it to make changes, this link should show you what i mean, should work now. im not great at coding so its not so simple for me haha

Thanks for your help though!just changed my permalinks settings to /%postname%/%post_id% and now you can view the car details, still issues with ‘footer creep’ as i keep calling it, if i leave a link you may be able to see for yourself

thanks, installing woodojo has helped slightly on the displacement front, just got to start to tweak it.
The other issue is still unsolved however. When i search for the cars, they come up on the results page, however, when you click to view the details of the specific car, the message ‘Oops! That page cannot be found.’ appears as if the car never existed. The URL is correct and I know it is in the cars for sale page too, any ideas?
