In reply to: [Best Quiz Plugin for WordPress: WP Quiz] WP QuizThis works to add the category to the quiz set up… however, I can’t view these through the normal category url structure domain.com/category/sportstrivia/ I also tried domain.com/wp_quiz/category/sportstrivia/ … any suggestions? Also, do you know how I can get my menu to point to this new url instead of the default?
Thanks,

In reply to: [Best Quiz Plugin for WordPress: WP Quiz] WP QuizTo elaborate more… I’d like to have a sports quiz category that will have all sports quizzes, a personality quiz category that just has personality quizzes, etc.
Thanks.
I’d be happy to make a $50 donation if you can help me make this work.
Please let me know or I’ll have to find another plugin.
Thanks.
fyi, I tried passing it as an excerpt as well and I see it capturing the value in wordpress but it is not including it in the tweet (unless I click update).
Seems to be an issue with getting the value for custom fields from the initial post.
Any thoughts or help would be appreciated.
Thanks,
RyanI see the issue, but think its a bug… I am passing the custom value correctly from Postie because I can see the custom value in the post.
However, the custom value is not being included in the tweet. However, if I just click update, the update tweet has the custom value included.
For some reason, the custom value is being included in the “update when post is edited” tweet but not the “update when post is posted” tweet — even though they have the same settings:
#title# #post# [[goodcents-url]]
Is this a bug or a settings issue?
Thanks for your help with this.
Thanks for your response… I’m still struggling with this a bit.
Here is what I am trying to do.
I’m trying to pass a value like CUSTOM_URL to be used instead of the default URL (permalink).
My 2 issues:
1. I’m using Postie where I want to pass the CUSTOM_URL value along with my post via email. I am not sure how to pass this custom value. Would you know the syntax and how to include this with the post?
2. From reading WP to Twitter instructions, I assume that if I was passing the custom value correctly, that I would be able to tweet it by putting the custom value within double square brackets, like custom_url . Can you confirm that this is correct?
I appreciate any help you can provide on this issue.
Many thanks,
Ryan
