    Hey there,

Thanks for the feedback, and really sorry you’ve had a rough experience with the plugin — especially not hearing back from support. That’s definitely not how we want things to go.

To help us figure out what’s going on, could you send over:

    • A link to one of the WordPress posts where the import didn’t render properly
    • And the original Beehiiv post it was imported from
    • If possible, access to a test or staging site where we can safely take a closer look

That would really help us track down the issue. You can reply here or email us directly at [email protected].

Appreciate you flagging this — we’ll jump on it as soon as we have the details.

    Cheers,
    Saeed J

    Hi @evanish

Thank you for bringing this issue to our attention. I apologize for the inconvenience you’re experiencing with the content import process. To assist you effectively, could you please provide the following details:

    1. Plugin Version: Which version of the “beehiiv to WordPress” plugin are you currently using? Ensuring you’re on the latest version can help, as updates often include important fixes.
    2. WordPress and PHP Versions: Could you specify the versions of WordPress and PHP your site is running? Compatibility issues can sometimes arise with certain versions.
    3. Error Messages: Are there any error messages displayed during the import process? If so, please share the exact wording or screenshots, as they can provide valuable insights.
    4. Content Details: Is the issue occurring with all newsletters or specific ones? Understanding if this is a consistent problem or isolated to certain content can help pinpoint the cause.
    5. Steps Taken: Could you outline the steps you’ve followed during the import process? This will help us replicate the issue and identify any potential misconfigurations.
    6. Additional Plugins: Are there other plugins active on your site that might interact with content imports? Conflicts between plugins can sometimes lead to unexpected behavior.

Providing these details will enable us to investigate the issue thoroughly and work towards a solution.

    Hey @cristianciuberea,

Good news! We just released an update (v2.0.2) that now includes CSS styling in imports, so your newsletters should look closer to the original design.

Go ahead and update to v2.0.2, and let us know if it works the way you need!

    Thank you!

    Hi @maryam1107,

Thanks for your patience and for letting us know about the issue!

We’ve just released an update for the plugin (v2.0.2) that includes fixes for the CSS issues you mentioned. To make sure everything runs smoothly, please update to the latest version and follow these steps:

    1. Set the “Import Option” to “Update” in Step 2 of the import settings:
      • Choosing “Update” will ensure that the CSS fixes and improvements apply to both your new and previously imported newsletters. This way, all your content will be up to date with the latest changes.
      • If your import setting is currently on “New”, switch it to “Update” and delete any old scheduled imports. Then, set up a new one to avoid any duplicates or conflicts.
    2. Give it a test: Once everything’s updated and configured, check your imported posts to see if the CSS issues are resolved. If you’re still seeing anything off, just let us know, and we’ll look into it.

    Thank you!
