We are having issues with server capacity overload while using the plugin. I do not see “preload only on mouse hover” as an option. Would you please explain? All I see is:

Delay to start preloading

Max requests per second

Mouse hover delay

I do not know if you have looked into this yet but either way, I wanted to update you that for the past hour I am getting an error that says the site is down (timing out error) every once in a while (ever since enabling the flying pages plugin). I get the error that says Cloudflare can load a previous version of the page so it’s hard to say if the site is still up or not. Please let me know when you are done looking into this and what you have found. I am leaving work for the day but will check back first thing tomorrow. Thanks Again!

I’ve done as you asked. You should have received an email. (If you need the password how can I get it to you securely?) This is the live site so whatever you do please do not set it to unlimited requests per second. This killed my site when I tried it on staging (in an attempt to speed the slow pages up) and I would have to revert back to a previous version.

It seems to be working very well now that it is on the live site (siteground’s staging runs terribly slow usually anyway). However, some pages still load very slowly. However, I cannot find any pattern to it. If I try to reload one of those slow pages they are very fast just like the others.

To Replicate the Issue: Try to load each main menu option from all the dropdowns, a few here and there take a very long time to load as if the plugin is not working on that page for some reason.

After updating all other plugins again and Yoast to 11.7 the problem is fixed. The focus keyphrase is displaying as it should on all edit pages.
